What to Expect from
a Horse Speak Clinic?
A Horse Speak Clinic is an inter-species language course.
You will be learning the Gestures, Postures, and Signals that have been proven to imitate the nuanced body language equines use in everyday interactions with each other.
There are 3-pillars of Horse Speak - Empathy, Mechanics, and Theory (E.M.T.) - each having their own precise details to help you get started or enhance your knowledge of the language.
The topics to be covered will vary because our motto is:
"The only control that we have about the curriculum to be covered is when there are no horses involved, once the horses show up you never know what they want to talk about."
Our goal in your learning experience is: herd dynamics, how do horses view their environment, how to intrinsically create safety for the horse immediately, learn about equine greeting protocols, and how to use a lead rope in a way that makes sense to your horse.
During a clinic we work hands-on with our active participants to help them learn the nuances of the body language skills needed to interact safely with our equine co-facilitators.
What does it mean to be an Active Participant
in a Horse Speak Clinic?
- You, along with seven others who have chosen to take the path of being an active participant, will have the opportunity to be actively coached in the Precise Equine Body Language Skills of Horse Speak.
- The language consists of Gestures, Postures, and Signals that are nuanced and are delivered with our entire body, which does take some practice.
- This is your chance to start the journey or enhance the skills you have been building already.
- As a clinic participant, you will have the rare opportunity to work side-by-side with Sharon and Laura Wilsie, the founders of Horse Speak.
- Over the four days, you will learn skills that you can immediately go home and practice with your beloved equine.
What does it mean to be an
Auditor at a Horse Speak Clinic?
As an auditor you will be able to ask questions at selected times during the clinic.
You will witness real-time interactions based on the language of the horse.
Take home NEW ideas and see the skill you can try immediately with your beloved equine.
